The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional meet to exchange views and information and to learn and share ideas. The wide spectrum of members is committed to the advancement of theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering, Information Processing. CSI promotes Research, Knowledge Sharing, Learning and Career Enhancement among all categories of IT professionals. CSI Inspires, nurtures and assists students to integrate into the IT community and Percolate benefits of IT advancement to all sections of Indian Society. Mahaguru Institute of Technology has 100 student members enrolled in the CSI Student Chapter. Different programs are organized for the student community by the CSI student’s branches which help in professional development at individual level.
International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS) is an autonomous organization set up by the Government of Kerala, India and having the combined mandate of popularizing Free and Open Source Software for universal use; consolidating the early FOSS work done in Kerala; and networking with different nations, communities and governments to collaboratively promote FOSS. ICFOSS trainings and workshops are mainly aimed at the development and promotion of FOSS initiatives among the students, Faculty, professionals.
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non- profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. The major objective of ISTE is providing guidance and training to students to develop better learning skills and personality. All the faculty members of the department and many of the students have ISTE membership. Many technical seminars and workshops are conducted under the banner of ISTE student chapter.
