Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is the discipline that applies the principles of engineering physics and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production and operation of machinery. The mechanical engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, structural analysis etc.

The undergraduate programme is aimed to inculcate a spirit of inquiry, stipulate the power of thinking, create analytical and experimental abilities, and elicit interest in post graduate courses. The college follows a curriculum which gives the students a firm basis in the conventional aspects of mechanical engineering. Apart from this it also concentrates on familiarizing them with emerging technologies such as AutoCad, Solid Works, Ansys etc.
