The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Mahaguru Institute of Technology (MIT) plays a pivotal role in promoting and sustaining academic and administrative excellence. Established as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure, the IQAC is dedicated to fostering a quality culture throughout the institution. 1. Facilitate Accreditation and Quality Assurance: Ensuring MIT meets the highest standards set by accreditation bodies such as NAAC and NBA by implementing best practices in academic and administrative processes, promoting transparency, and embedding a culture of excellence.
2. Enhance Research and Development: Developing a vibrant research culture by providing faculty and students with resources, facilities, and guidance to pursue impactful research projects. Encouraging publication in reputed journals, interdisciplinary collaborations, and the use of advanced research tools.
3. Promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IEDC): Fostering innovation and entrepreneurial skills among students and faculty through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC). Supporting startup initiatives, organizing workshops and bootcamps, and providing access to incubation facilities to transform ideas into viable ventures.
4. Foster Interdisciplinary Research: Encouraging departments to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary projects to address complex societal challenges. Supporting access to shared resources and expertise across disciplines, leading to holistic and impactful research outcomes.
5. Improve the Teaching-Learning Process: Continuously enhancing teaching methodologies and integrating e-learning resources to improve learning outcomes. Organizing faculty development programs to stay updated with modern pedagogies, thus ensuring that MIT graduates are well-prepared for the evolving industry landscape.
6. Enhance Industry-Institute Collaboration: Strengthening partnerships with industries to create opportunities for student internships, live projects, and guest lectures. Collaborating with industry experts to provide practical exposure and foster a curriculum that meets current market demands.
